Georg Sick as CEO and partner at Mecalac .

(Annecy / Munich, 8. April 2011) Dr. Georg Sick will be the new CEO of the French construction equipment manufacturer Groupe Mecalac SA and will become shareholder of the company by the acquisition of 25% of the share capital. Henri Marchetta will continue as Executive Chairman and will remain the main shareholder. The partnership in management and shareholding is to launch a phase of further international expansion and accelerated growth of the company. The character and success factors of the family company will be preserved.

Mecalac Ahlmann moves on from its two-brand strategy

Group Mecalac, the French building machinery manufacturer currently using the brands of Mecalac and Ahlmann, is to distribute all of its product groups exclusively under the Mecalac brand.
